They are pretty, the sphere look is rather nice considering the flat look of ff and ie.

Not so sure about the grass though.

Yes, I was hoping the preview was demonstrating their transparency.

The top of the sphere (the glass part) has some transparency. I hadn't intended to make them completely transparent. I hate vista. ;)

Yes, there is some transparency - it's just not what I was anticipating when I looked at the preview.
I thought you were showing us 1 icon, displayed on various backgrounds.
I'm not criticizing your work - only saying it wasn't what I thought it was.

Well, I am not wild about the grass wallpaper of Vista. And I like the other two, so two out of three. And I was thinking about the suggestion by another person that you might make a transparent version without any image. Of course there is energy and the aurora wallpapers in Vista, as well. No pressure, of course, they are yours to make or not.
